Yes. Etsy charges the 6.5% transaction fee and payment processing fees on the full order amount, including what the buyer pays for shipping. The transaction fee on shipping is one of the most commonly missed costs, which is why this calculator has a separate "shipping charged" input.
Offsite Ads are ads Etsy runs for your products on Google, Facebook, Pinterest and elsewhere. If a buyer clicks one and orders within 30 days, Etsy charges you a fee: 15% if you made under $10,000 in the last 365 days, or 12% if you made $10,000 or more (large sellers can opt out). The fee is charged only on the orders attributed to the ad, and is capped at $100 per order.
Yes. Each listing costs $0.20 and lasts four months or until it sells out. When it expires or sells, renewing costs another $0.20 per unit. A multi-quantity order (e.g. quantity 3) incurs $0.20 × 3 in listing fees — this calculator multiplies automatically based on the quantity field.
Processing fees vary by country: US 3% + $0.25; UK 4% + £0.20; Germany 4% + €0.30; France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Ireland 4% + €0.30; Australia 4.5% + AU$0.30 (approx.); Canada 3% + CA$0.25; Turkey and India differ.
